Casale San Cristoforo runs entirely on clean energy — solar panels installed across both the agriturismo and main house, paired with heat pumps throughout, make us fully independent from the electricity grid. The Umbrian hills that surround us are not just our backdrop. They are our responsibility.
Our Bio Agriturismo is a small, intimate farm stay in Umbria, welcoming up to four guests and thoughtfully designed for those who care deeply about what they put in and around their bodies. Sleep deeply in 100% organic and natural bedding, free from chemicals and full of comfort. Everything here is as pure as the land it sits on.
The house itself is a carefully curated space for those who love the comfort of design just as much as the comfort of nature — and find equal beauty in both. Thoughtfully assembled with aesthetics ranging from modern to rustic, it blends classic designer pieces — the iconic Vitra Eames chairs, a USM Haller working desk, and a stunning reclaimed bowling alley wooden dining table — with Italian reworked vintage wooden furniture, creating an interior that feels both elevated and deeply rooted. This is not a generic holiday rental. It is a considered, soulful space where good design and the natural world exist in quiet harmony.

Our Story.
Casale San Cristoforo was born from a longing that many of us quietly carry — the urge to step away from the noise, the speed, and the relentlessness of city life, and return to something real.
After years of fast-paced urban living, our young family made the leap. In early 2024 we took over this breathtaking piece of Umbrian land and have been lovingly nurturing it ever since — improving, restoring, and future-proofing it for generations to come.
Our 14 hectares are officially in conversion to certified organic, a commitment that runs through everything we do. From our 400 olive trees — from which we produce our own 100% Umbrian extra virgin olive oil — to our vegetable garden bursting with seasonal produce, and our 30 fruit trees that gift us and our guests with fresh fruit and homemade jams. This land feeds us, and we take that responsibility seriously.
We farm with purpose. Applying permaculture and regenerative agriculture practices, our vision is to cultivate grains and legumes that build a truly sustainable future — for our family, for the land, and for the planet.
Biodiversity is at the heart of how we work. We allow wild plants and native herbs to grow freely across the property, our free-roaming chickens naturally manage the grounds, and our three sheep work quietly and faithfully through the olive grove — grazing, nurturing the soil, and keeping the land in perfect balance. Our cats complete the circle, keeping the ecosystem naturally in check. It is a way of life we have come to deeply appreciate and fiercely protect.
